Flowers in the trees

“The flowers!!” is her answer to why she would not move from him. “I did our flowers myself when we first got married in 2021 and I knew I didn’t want to skimp this time. I told Brianna I wanted flowers that actually hung on the trees and WOW she and Meg (the florist) arranged it.” What she presented to Briana was three colors, pinks, oranges and greens, and the feeling: “An intimate and colorful garden party tucked into the mountains,” she says, “romantic and elevated, but more playful than traditional.” And she’s quick to give the credit: “Honestly, the design was all Brianna and I’m so grateful we got to work with her.”
It’s so hard. all day? LOL My favorite part was running around Glacier National Park because this park is one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. Arriving at the ceremony site and seeing those mountains in the background with all our friends and family standing there was an unreal feeling. But then going back to the cabins and seeing Brianna’s set up really brought tears to my eyes. This whole day was unforgettable.

“Her inspiration was the Chartreuse sofa and the design grew from there,” says Briana of Events by Briana. You can follow the sofa along the entire table. The chartreuse sits on the cargo plates and the anthurium leaves, and the rest of the palette, orange, blush and yellow, is what a garden party looks like when the acid green is the anchor and not the accent. Around the textured color: natural wood, cream, brass, ribbed and grooved glass, and the vintage-inspired lighting requested by Nadia, which topped them with folded salmon rings, ribbed yellow lanterns and white curling shades, with rentals from West era and Cloud designs.

One week out, some guests had to cancel. “We took down a table and redesigned the table flowers the week of the wedding,” Briana says. It’s the kind of last-minute fix that guests don’t notice, and that’s exactly the point: The single long table looks like it was the plan all along.

“Collected, whimsical and a little unexpected” was the other half of what Nadia asked for, and the gold-flecked ceramic tiger is where it comes in, holding the court over a grid of instant snapshots in gold clip holders. Every garden party needs one item that was definitely someone’s idea and not a rental category.
